Assassination Vacation by Sarah Vowell

In this engaging and highly unusual travelogue, journalist Sarah Vowell explores the history of American presidential assassinations. From the Florida Keys all the way to Alaska, Vowell visits assassination sites, museums, prisons, monuments, and even a religious commune. Along the way she shares strange-but-true historical facts -- for instance, did you know that Robert Todd Lincoln, "a.k.a. Jinxy McDeath," was present at several presidential assassinations? -- and offers keen observations about history, politics, and the connection of the past to the present. (NoveList)
