We know our patrons love to read, but how about those of you who put the ink to paper as well? Join us for a drop-in session the first Tuesday of every month to read and discuss your work and the work of your fellow wordsmiths.

The library, in partnership with the Alzheimer's Association and Pathlights, hosts an eight-week support group for those living with early-stage dementia or MCI (mild cognitive impairment), and their care partners.

Take and Make. For Orland Park residents only. 

In this hands-on class, you will learn the various parts of a computer, how to use a mouse, how to open/close a program, and how to properly turn on/off the computer. 

Registration is required.

Courage cards are not only beautiful, but they can be used to inspire courage within us. Join Mindfulness Coach Debra Vinci—Minogue, Ed. D. to create your own courage cards while learning some mindfulness skills.

We will have fun as we read, sing, and play together to build early literacy skills.   

An informal, mixed level group, guided by a teacher. Anyone with a basic working knowledge of English can join. Childcare is not available, but parents or caregivers may bring young children who can occupy themselves during the program

Grades 6-12. Ew! Gross science! Learn what owls eat by dissecting an owl pellet! 

In this basics course, you will receive hands-on instruction on how to use the Glowforge laser cutting/engraving machine.
