Learn about the connections between Greek mythology and the stars you see in the night sky. Backyard Astronomer, Joshua Degner, will also give you a crash course in stargazing for beginners interested in this cosmic hobby. 

Ancient Greek visual culture and mythology has had an enormous impact on modern western culture and beyond. Become literate in this system of stories and symbols and see its influence in the world around you.

Super Simple Mystery Bag Take and Make for ages 2-6. For Orland Park residents only. 

Love acting and improv? We will be building our acting skills through games and short scripts.

Grades 6-12. Help us keep our Little Free Food Pantry stocked. You will need to attend a 1-hour mandatory training session and commit to visiting the library once a week for the month you register for. Meet at the Teen Loft Desk for training.

Do you admire hand knit hats, mittens and scarves? This is your chance to learn to knit so you can create your own. Parents are invited to accompany their children.

We know our patrons love to read, but how about those of you who put the ink to paper as well? Join us for the first Tuesday of every month to read and discuss your work and the work of your fellow wordsmiths. All subjects and genres welcome.

This class is a lectured overview on everything 3D printing. You’ll learn about how 3D printing works, startup costs, and how to get a model from your PC to the printer.
