Grades K-5.  Kick off your winter reading adventure with dragon stories and activities. REGISTRATION OPENS: Nov. 15 

Grades 3-5. Get crafty and spread some cheer with a handmade pop-up card featuring a 3D Christmas tree surprise inside! We’ll use colorful paper, stickers, and a little holiday magic to create cards perfect for gifting.

Grades K-5. Sign up for a frantic tournament to determine the Orland Park Library’s best Super Smash Bros. Ultimate player! Register in advance for this 1 vs. 1 tournament. We’ll supply the gaming gear.

Grades 3-5. Many of our favorite books have been turned into movies, but was the book better? Come enjoy a warm cup of hot cocoa and watch The Best Christmas Pageant Ever with us.

Grades K-5. Get ready for an action-packed time at Video Game Club! We’ll be playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, both on the Nintendo Switch!  

Grades K-5. Let’s have a golden time singing and dancing to some of our favorite K-Pop songs and complete a scavenger hunt for a prize! 

Join us as we have fun experimenting with pipettes and paint!

Use chalk to make your own Northern Lights.

Grades 3-5. Do you admire handknit hats, mittens, or scarves? This is your chance to learn to knit, so you can create your own. Parents are invited to accompany their children. 

Come hang out with old and new friends as we play board games and Legos.

Grades 3-5. Join us to learn how to twist balloons into fun animals and shapes! You’ll leave with your very own balloon creations and the skills to make more at home. 

Grades K-5. Get ready for an action-packed time at Video Game Club! We’ll be playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, both on the Nintendo Switch! No registration required.

Grades 3-5. Show off your creativity by designing friendship bracelets with LEGO pieces and mini-figure heads! Trade with a friend or keep your one-of-a-kind creation. 

Come make your own art inspired by "The Eclipse" and learn about Alma Thomas' techniques. 

Grades 3-5. Enjoy a night of viewing famous photos taken by James Van Der Zee who was one of the most prolific photographers of the Harlem Renaissance.

Grades 3-5. Put your creativity to use and have fun creating unique valentines for your friends and also the senior residents visited by our Outreach Department. If you can’t make the program, we’ll have extras to make in the Children’s Library.

Meet some new friends at our monthly homeschool meetup. Bring a friend or come open to meeting a new one. 

Grades K-5. At the Winter Olympics the athletes are finishing strong. Design your own skis and go for the gold! 

Grades 3-5. To celebrate the 30-year anniversary of Pokémon, join us to create your very own fake Pokémon creations out of model magic clay and paint. Tell us their name, type, and all the super awesome attacks they can do. 

Celebrate Renoir's birthday by making your own masterpiece inspired by his work.
