The Library delivers books to its registered outreach patrons that are unable to visit the library themselves.
The Orland Park Public Library is subject to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Individuals who require an accommodation for a disability to any library presentations should contact the library at (708) 428-5114 at least five (5) working days prior to the event.
Outreach Services brings a browsing collection of books and AV to Smith Crossing.
Ages 16+. Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. This constant need for blood can only be met by generous donors like you, and when you give blood, you could save the life of a cancer patient or someone needing open-heart surgery.
Masks are recommended, but no library patron of any age would be prohibited from attending a library program for not wearing a mask.
Grades 6-12. Register for this program where we will help little kids with backyard nature activities. See the description in the Youth Programming section for more information on the activities each month. Hours Earned: 1.5
Partner with a teen volunteer to explore all that nature has to offer. We will make awesome nature art.
