Patricia McClure-Chessier is the Award-Winning Author of “Losing a Hero to Alzheimer’s The Story of Pearl” and “A Caregiver’s Guide for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Nine Key Principles." Patricia will share her journey about how she cared for her mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Patricia will share communication strategies from her book “A Caregiver’s Guide for Alzheimer’s and Dementia: Nine Key Principles”. Participants will learn how to avoid power struggles, learn what to do when their loved one is non-compliant with their daily skills, or when their loved one displays challenging behaviors.
