Program Description
Event Details
Rabbits can be incredibly affectionate and fun family pets. Every year in Illinois thousands of bunnies are purchased by families for Easter and dumped by May, leading to an annual spring crisis in Illinois animal shelters. While not hard to care for, many inexperienced folks underestimate how much attention they need, how long they live, and are unaware of their extremely specific dietary needs. Veterinarian, Dr. Rachel Thomas, will give you everything you need to know to find out if a bunny is the right pet for you.
